Sewing thread
We have been trying out a few threads to choose one that we feel would be suitable for most of the projects that we cater for, and have decided to stock Coats Nylbond. Nylbond is a bonded nylon that is strong and sufficiently elastic to stand up to the rigours of daily life as part of a handbag or soft toy, yet fine and easy to handle. The pictures below show both our own photographs and an extract from the manufacturer's shade card. The thread has more of a sheen than appears on the shade card, but less than in the photograph. Where the colours appear to differ we feel the photograph is closer to life than the shade card, however please bear in mind that colour replication on computers is still not an exact science, and our description of a colour may not be the same as yours.
